Miraka has been announced as a finalist in the New Zealand International Business Awards 2023 – Excellence in Sustainability category.
CEO, Karl Gradon, said Miraka is delighted to be chosen as a finalist alongside a handful of other leading organisations who also champion best business practice where it concerns the care of the environment.
“Our founders established Miraka upon a core set of values – including Kaitiakitanga - the guardianship and preservation of our taiao / natural environment and resources as best we can.
"Miraka has been recognised as a business that embeds sustainability into the fabric of our organisation, achieving international growth while having a positive impact on people and the planet."
The New Zealand International Business Awards are one of the country's most prestigious awards programmes for exporting businesses.
The awards have held for more than 50 years with winners including some of New Zealand’s most dynamic businesses and inspirational leaders.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony and gala dinner to be held in Auckland on 23 November 2023.
