Miraka is one of just two dairy factories in the world powered by geothermal energy, using nature’s heat to dry and process our milk products. From the heart of New Zealand, we export our products around the world, producing Powder, UHT and Frozen Milk Concentrate with a low carbon footprint.
Our people are the heart of who we are, and we believe there is something special about working at Miraka. We are a growing business with an exciting future ahead and we are looking for an Administrator to join our On-Farm Excellence team at our Head Office based in Taupo.
This is a key role within the team. You’ll become the glue for a number of key activities and projects as well as providing professional and personable communication to Miraka Suppliers, administrative support and reporting to the General Manager On-Farm Excellence.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven Administration experience.
• Strong organisational skills, are a good planner and have the ability to meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and strive for excellence in all that you do.
• A self-starter attitude, are motivated and can work both autonomously and in a team environment.
• Have an understanding of dairy farming, milk collection and milk quality terms and processes.
• Experience using Microsoft products.
• Experience organising events.
• Values which resonate with the Miraka values and are willing to contribute to the wider Miraka team and embrace our unique culture and points of difference.
Building and maintaining constructive relationships with our suppliers is paramount, therefore your relationship-building and inter-personal communication skills are key. You will also need to demonstrate to us your sound analytical and Microsoft office skills, self-motivation and your ability to be a supportive team player. You must be willing to positively contribute to fostering our Miraka culture by displaying behaviours that are consistent with the Miraka values. A relevant tertiary qualification would be desirable (Such as Agri Business).
